Schumann Bath remodel

This 1980’s bathroom once had outdated tile, bamboo wallpaper, a bidet, and a one sink vanity. Now it boasts a beautiful tile waterfall, open feel glass shower, modern craftsman double vanity, and a look that will last for decades. We kept the paneled wood ceiling, but gave it a deep warm brown luster. The tile is modern with a rustic and relaxed appeal. The window casing, door, baseboard and trim, have continuity with the vanity. The outside of the bathroom door is stained to match the master bedroom trim and doors and the same golden brown accents in the tile bring a connection to the rest of the home.

Yellow Bike Cottage Transformation

By using cool coastal blues and white clean accents, this 1990’s cottage received a modern, clean, and welcoming look. The gray/blue combination of the vinyl horizontal and cedar shake siding modernizes but doesn’t break the bank. All the new white trim, base boards, and deck skirting is done in composite wood, so no touch-up painting required. The new modern railing opens the view to the lake with a less is more feel. The gray composite decking is low maintenance and gives the deck a contemporary look. The new mate black light fixtures give the cottage a nautical and warm glow. Cheers to a new fresh look for Yellow Bike Cottage!

Design & Build

Yellow Bike Cottage Garage Design

The Yellow Bike Cottage garage build was our first project that we started from the ground up, literally from the ground up! We coordinated the surveying, drainage, excavation of land and prep for the foundation and driveway. After the foundation was ready we worked with a local Green Lake builder, Loberg Homes & Builders. With their help, they brought our design project to life.

The Sebring Design & Remodeling Project

For this interior design project I worked with, Jenny and Jeff, the owners of Oak & Stone. I used my photoshop skills to show the client what the completed project could look like once completed. The first photo to the top left shows my computer created design they selected from a series of ideas. The bottom left photo is the before picture of the space. And the image to the right show the completed remodeling project.

The following images are some of the ideas I came up with for the client. I enjoyed giving the client visual options they could choose from and from those idea choosing what worked best for them. This design process helped save Oak & Stone and their client time and money.
